Here's a stunning, all original Koontz archtop from the 70's!

This is a top of the line, big body archtop model (400 size), from legendary guitar builder Sam Koontz. This rare, and extrodinary acoustic-electric archtop has one of the most stunning clean tones you'll ever hear. The guitar features a gold plated, floating DeArmond Pickup, that is voiced perfectly for the instrument. The pickup sounds crystal clear, and wonderfully full and balanced. There's a volume and tone control on the 5 ply ebony pickguard, that add even greater depth and versatility to its tone. The guitar has flame maple back & sides, that add wonderful top end treble, to go along with the deep bottom end sound you get from its full body. Not to mention huge volume when played acoustically! The neck feels incredible, as it's super easy to play both finger style and/or strummed. The guitar has low action, with a lot of room in the bridge to go down (or up).  Just a remarkable hand made guitar, by one of the greats. Hard shell case included!
